Bringing Language Alive through Process DramaProcess drama is a powerful language-learning tool because it involves all of the learners interactively all of the class time. Used for decades as a framework for reading, writing, and social studies classes in mainstream UK, Australian, and Canadian classrooms, process drama is now being utilized in second language classrooms worldwide because it provides stimuli for ongoing speaking, listening, reading, writing, and critical thinking opportunities…See More

Hello,

How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site. Could you please get back to me on:(jjoelcrowley@gmail.com) for the full details.

Have a nice day

Joel Crowley.

HUMMM, yes and no. I don't teach Dramatherapy but I know that drama can boost confidence and can give a person a chance to express themselves in a way that helps them. But I am starting to design programmes that will help develope life skills, look at learning problemsolving skills and conflict resolution skills. Perhaps helping people who have no empathy with others having the situations put to them of taking responsibility for their actions even if they have never been in that situation before?
E.g. You were asked to look after your friend's cat and you went to the shop and left the door opne. Now your friend came back to find no You and no cat plus the door wide open! What do you say to your friend?

The result is a fictional situation where the student learns about responibility and home security and facing up to conququences of poor judgement. But in a safe enviromnent!
